It seems, according to this article at least, that prostitutes in Africa may hold the key to making an HIV/AIDS vaccine.

So, for all of the moral superior, condesending assholes who somehow think that Prostitutes don't add anything to society... I say to thee, fuck right off.

    The only reason we view prostitutes as scummy is because we live in a society that still carries social stigma and values of uber-conservative Elizabethan Europe. Sex, for some stupid fucking reason, is vilified far more than violence. For some reason, we still believe that pleasure of the self is a much worse thing to enjoy than the suffering of others.

    I'm not gonna say its a noble profession or anything, but for alot of people its either sex for money or try and beg and have your children starve to death. I mean, there aren't a lot of options for most of these people.
