Well, I was going to say I would see a porno with dialogue consisting only of video game catch phrases, but I realized that what I really want is just the dialogue dubbed at appropriate times.
That would be goof for about 5 or 10 minutes of hilarity.
I basically did no homework whatsoever in my last year of high school (I think I actually showed up for one day in the last quarter). Finished in the 82nd percentile of the state, earning me a spot in the Uni course I wanted, and $20,000 worth of scholarships.
As happy as I am about this, I realise that there are a lot of people out there who work their fucking asses off and don't get anywhere near the same opportunities that I have. It makes me feel guilty, but I'm not going to sit here and be ungrateful. I've been given the chance to learn and potentially get a career in something I really enjoy, and I'm going to take that chance.
How the hell did you get $20,000 worth of scholarships for being in the 82nd percentile?
At the University I'm going to, you almost automatically qualify for an $18,000 scholarship if you're in the 80th percentile.
I'm using percentile in the correct sense, right? Top 20%.

Oh, I suppose I should note that that's just the school of IT & Maths' scholarship (one of them, anyway). I don't know if any of the other departments have comparable scholarships.
Until recently I worked in the city, now I don't, and my replacement job does not pay nearly as well as my other one. Combine these and I get to live at home, probably until I finish school.

I'm going to be dependent on my parents till I finish my bachelor's, and probably my master's too. It's a little bit annoying sometimes, but so much less annoying than it would be if I had to pay for my extremely expensive school by myself, as well as graduate school which is probably going to be really expensive. In conclusion, my parents are really nice and expect nothing from me except to do my best in school.
