So, I finally caved and got MS Office for my ibook and it's (mostly) working out ok.
However, I am having one major irritating problem that I desperately need help with. Generally, if I want to save a word document I've been working on I have to turn Airport off; if I am connected to a network/interweb then it says at the bottom of the screen "word is connecting to the printer" and crashes, hence losing all the work that I had done (very, very annoying until I realised what was causing it).
So, my question is, how do I stop this? I really don't want to have to close off Airport every time I want to save a document as when I am working I check my e-mail a lot and need to use academic websites and it's becoming a pain in the arse. Any suggestions?
