    It's all about D'Compose.

He will fucking turn you into a zombie, even if you are a heroine.

I'm sure its been said before, but, to be based off a children's cartoon that was made to sale toys, Transformers had no buisness being that good.

    Shia LaBeouf is the man.

What about this one? Mysterious Cities of Gold was a French show that was translated into English. It had one of the silliest yet coolest vehicles of all time - the Golden Condor -

This was shown on the closed circuit television at an anime convention I attended last year. I was sitting on the bed, eating some lunch and said "Wow. This one is old. Early 80s, at the latest."

"Wait a minute. I remember this one!"
"Oh, my God. How old am I?!"

Hey, at least you watched stuff from your time period. :P Having watched a lot of late-80s stuff that was in syndication that's now coming back as old TV, I feel both young and old at the same time.

Do any of you folks remember Visionaries?

My cousin was into those things more than I was, so I cannot attest for it's awesomeness, nor for it's lameness.

    Sheath these feet
    In a blinding gale!
    Make swift these legs --
    O'er land I sail!

    Yeah, I remember them a bit. ;)

The toys were fairly generic crap (oooh, 3d holograms...) but I loved the concept and the cartoon was pretty good, especially the opening series where they all got their totems and shit.

I liked MASK, but I was pissed that they never made a toy of Shark.

Was that the car that could submerse underwater, piloted by the female good guy character?

It was a Porsche, and she was a professional racecar driver. I bet it's VW's fault, just like Bumblebee.

    Edit: Found a fake.

Yeah, that's the one I was thinking of. Girl characters in shows like these always seem to get screwed over(like Arcee from the original Transformers movie).

Most of them are pretty much useless, too. Gloria Baker and Vanessa Warfield were both pretty badass though.
