Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
Ok, so I'm pretty famously clumsy, and they're renovating the building I work in at uni, and there's wet paint on the walls as a result, and I kind of bumped against a wall today and got some paint on my jeans and shirt. Just a little bit on the elbow and hip, but its not really coming out in the wash and I'm wondering if there's a trick to getting it gone? Should I turpse it or something?
The turpentine/paint thinner solution works great, but it depends if they're synthetic fabrics at all. While they're completely harmless for natural materials, anything synthetic will dissolve and get chewed through in a nanosecond. It's a really odd thing to see, to be sure.
yeah heh, not sure what turpse will do to the dyes. I'll probably wind up trying it anyway, because I don't like the shirt much and any excuse to buy new jeans is a good excuse >.>
edit: t recoil they're polycotton blends both, I think (I stuck them in the wash a second time, so can't check). the jeans are stretch though...

This place seemed to have a bunch of suggestions (hair spray, lighter fluid, and so on).
