Is it Racist to Hate an Entire Ethnicity?

I hate mexicans.
They come into my workplace, and they ask me for shit in rapid spanish at 9:30 in the night and expect me to know where the hell the damn jalopeños are.
No I don't habla espaniol, damn it.


Is it wrong to think that to effectively integrate into a culture, you should learn to speak its language? Sweden doesn't put up with this crap. And we are American slash British slash Canadian! We are better than the god damned Swiss! (except their watches)

    The only Mexicans I don't like are the ones who would come through the drive-through when I was still working at Burger King. They'd drive up, speaking broken half-english, and expect their order to be perfect. Way to make an already difficult process near-impossible, douchebags.

    Yes, I'm fairly certain it is racist to hate an group of people based solely off of their ethnicity

    I get that at my work too, but instead of burgers, I'm dealing with medication. And not just mexicans.

    Most mexicans I meet who can't speak english very well are pretty apologetic about it. The majority understand that it creates a lot of difficulties, at least in my experience anyway.

    I have more problems with Asians speaking broken English at my work then Mexicans, but neither is very common.
    But it's ok,
    because no matter how much I may dislike dealing with people who can't speak English

    it has got to be a million times worse being stuck in a country full of people who openly hate you because you can't speak their language.

    I work with 3 spanish folks.

    They are actually the only non-white people I see with any regularity.

    There's this one guy who comes in to the store I work at about half an hour before I get done with my shift to polish the floors. I can't tell if he's Mexican or Asian.

    I guess this means I'm racist.

    I think the one thing I hate most, more then any race, are disgruntled soccer moms who talk down to everyone because thats what they do to their kids all day.

    jesus guys can everyone just try to be more accomodating of eachother

    dude 1 can't speak english and dude 2 hates him because he can't speak english

    but they have to communicate to get task A completed

    in the end dude 1 hates dude 2 and dude 2 hates everyone and task A is just i mean

    i dont even want to talk about task A
