Emoticons not working for killed users

It seems that emoticons don't work for users who were killed during the april fools event. I've seen a few people ask what was going on, but nothing in here about it.

Then that applies to pretty much everyone who posted in the past few days.

it's not a problem. it's a new feature that was implemented during the wonderful april 1 celebration that all posters enjoyed immensely.
