I was born in Palo Alto: which is famous for that big university Stanford. In fact I was born in the university hospital.

I hope to leave this world as I entered it; naked, fondled by numerous smart league co-eds.

    tee hee I r stupid.

If you think any of the following:

    (A) "league" is spelled "leage"
    (B) Stanford, a famed west coast school, is a part of the Ivy League, a group of esteemed east-coast universities

that particular goal may be a little far beyond you.

Honestly the only really cool part about my town is that it's within biking distance of the town where Bruce Campbell lives (like 5 miles)

Oh, well I guess that kinda beats all of your guys' things.

    Sorry.

The only time I've heard my town mentioned anywhere but in my town was on Jay Leno.

Apparently, after getting destroyed in an away game, a few members of our Freshman football team masturbated on the bus back. They were caught, and this is what Leno had to say the next night:

"They were so bad, the only team they could beat was themselves."

Thomas Edison had his winter home here.

EDIT: Also, The abandoned city scene from "Day of the Dead" was filmed in downtown Fort Myers.

    I did not know this.
Fort Myers, FL? I was born there, but I only lived there a couple of years before moving away. I know this one girl professional skateboarder was born there...can't remember her name though.

I come from Swansea (Wales). Dylan Thomas was born here, probably the only person worth mentioning apart from boxing champion Enzo Maccarinelli. The guy from Aphex Twin's parents live around here somewhere. Some dog called Jack saved 27 people from drowning over the course of his seven year life, which is now only remembered through the football hooligans ("Who are we? Jack Army!" etc). The area I live in is called Gower, and is your typical British rural countryside sort of affair. It was the first area in Britain to be declared an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' and plays host to a lot of archaological remains. 'Twin Town' was made in Swansea and is in the top ten list of films that most frequently use the word 'fuck'.

Oh yeah, we also have a dying language, which is really ugly.

Oh man I live in a relatively small town but some great people have been born here.

    Jennifer Lavoie, Playboy Playmate

Paul Levesque (Triple H), professional wrestler !

    Mandy Moore, singer

    Mike O'Malley, actor (Nickelodeon's GUTS!)

Ive met Mike's dad, he came into bestbuy to buy his sons movie.

And the way he asked to find it was, "I'm looking for a movie my son is in."

I go, "Ok what's the name of the movie?" and I just thought he was an extra or something.

He told me, I forgot the name of the movie though"

And then he pointed to mike's name on the dvd and said thats my son.

I was like oh man I used to watch GUTS all the time when I was a kid.

    It was crazy.
