It's funny, I lived in lincoln for over 20 years - but when I go home, I make sure to mud up my truck's license plates to hide the fact i'm a pilgrim in an unholy land.

there is absolutely no history in that rivalry, it started in the 80s and was only good for a short period when both teams were good
compare that with unc-duke in basketball and auburn-alabama, oklahoma-texas, army-navy, michigan-osu, notre dame-usc, etc. etc. in football

Oklahoma/Nebraska is our only REAL rival...and that got taken away in 1996 with the Big 12 alignment.
