Locust: Chapter 03. Cohort

Hi there. I recently finished the fourth issue of my comic, ‘Locust’ and got around to polishing off my website.
This may be blatant site whoring, but I’m trying to drum up some kind of community. So, let me know what you think or better yet, drop by my forums and let me know what you think!


So yeah... this is the 4th issue of my comic. I call it the "happy issue" because its the last icky goody good junk I have to do before I start tearing stuff apart next chapter.
It's almost exclusively character development and has almost no plot advancement.
It may not make you understand stuff about the locust universe, it may not grip your attention and force you to turn every page, but hopefully it will make you smile. Which is all it's supposed to do.

Also though, one thing you may want to look out for, you've been misspelling some words. Like in the sixth page down (including cover) you have put "then" where you mean "than".

I think the non-Lexi girl looks especially masculine in the cover, though. I may have noticed it before, but I don't think I've mentioned it.

You really need to get somebody to proof read your script before you make these. It's better than it was before but I still counted at least two errors.

Otherwise, I love it. Better than your older stuff for sure.

Good job. I like not only the story and the art but that over a lengthy amount of time you have kept true to the same style, and that can be pretty difficult. So... :^:

The art is great and I enjoy the style. What's even more impressive though is the specific attention to pacing and character development; the writing is really good here. I'd like to see more.

I haven't caught up to speed on everything about your comic, McGibs, but is there a story-related or maybe philosophical reason the C.C.E. symbol looks like the typical "power on" icon you would see on most computers/printers/what-have-you?

Other than that (and the few text errors Grifter mentioned), it looks great. Hopefully, I'll have time to read the whole thing through.
