Home brew bottling

I'm brewing my own beer at home, however I've realised I haven't stored up enough beer bottles.

My question is: is there anything wrong with bottling using large soft drink bottles?

    Light is beer's natural enemy... next to the bladder. So, chances are it will get too much light and taste like it.

    As sentry said, light is the enemy. But as long as you keep the bottles in a dark room, preferably a designated coldroom, you should be fine.
