Seriously, make multiple copies of your latest version at all times. The thought of what happened to MrMister has horrified me ever since I saw a note posted all over campus one year by someone desperately hoping to get their laptop back with all their thesis work and research on it.

Although I doubt you are still awake, the Great Magnet is sort of a new age-y term for the Earth. It basically means that you worship the Earth. Not really pop culture, I'll admit. Pedro the Lobster Messiah, however, is extremely obscure. He appeared once on Conan O'Brien. He was shown being put into a pot of boiling water by the chef, only to rise out of the water a moment later in radiant glory and telling the chef that he was forgiven for killing him. And Queen Spider is obviously South Park.
