The urge to run to a craft store for small wood, etc to build a Trebuchet right fucking now is very strong.

    ... very strong

Posted for hot trebuchet action! Trebuchets are always handy in Medieval II: Total War, and of course, almost a necessity when you are assaulting a very well-defended city, such as this one:

    EnglishSiege.jpg

Here we see the English about to rape and pillage a large Scottish city. And it's the trebuchets that destroy the walls and demoralize the soldiers inside, making the raping and pillaging possible!

Damn, that is an awesome trebuchet.

    The BFT one.

So who wants to toss out what they think "BFT" stands for?

My first thought was that the makers played too much Doom.
I was thinking "Big Fucking Trebuchet" too.

Ah I remember the carnage of Trebuchets I used in Medieval: Total War 2.

    Half a dozen Trebs...check
    Calvary on your flanks...check
Militia infantry and spearmen up front...check
Archers with flaming arrows in the bank...check

This worked for a long time until the Pope fucked me over.

Yes. Yes you should. The potential for epic battles alone should already make it worth anyone's time.
