Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Can't be much worse than ordering a Kamikaze in Hawaii.
however, before it cut out i had this to say to pony
hey pony your terrible depression reminds me of a funny story about how god hates me.
my boss works the early shift (7-4) every day, i usually work 5-11 so i rarely see her and usually fly under the radar
every time my schedule switches and i work when she is there terrible things happen to me
including but not limited to
a power outage 15 minutes after i go to bed, resetting my clock, my clock being set an hour behind on accident, even though i tripple check, my engine backfiring then dying several miles from anywhere, my battery dying without any warning
In the words of the ancients, one should make his decision within the space of seven breaths. It is a matter of being determined and having the spirit to break through to the other side
So you're a serial killer?
Go read the books that the show is based on. So good. The third one comes out next month, I think.
I spent a few minutes working out why anyone would be upset about sympathising with a boy genius with his own super lab behind his book case before I realized that it was probably a different dexter.
this happens far too often for my taste
Depends which of the topics it's meandered about on about that might interest you.
As another note (about one of those topics). I find the entire height vs weight issue to be totally retarded as a term of "how healthy" one is.
I'm 6'4'', I weighed around 180 after a surgery and I looked TERRIBLE, I was like walking death. Right now I'm probably around the 250 range and I need to start working out again (I overcompensated after I couldn't eat for months... I'm working on normalizing again).
On the other hand I was probably in the best shape of my life when I weighed over 300lbs, because I was working out and weightlifting a lot at the time. I wasn't ripped like a roid freak or anything, I was just big because that's how I'm built.
Other people are similar. I've seen so many people panic and freak out over their weight because they aren't at some abstract "ideal". It can do a lot of damage when people try and get thinner when they actually don't need to be. I see that mostly with younger women, just like I see many younger guys try and "bulk up" because they think they should weigh more.
TLDR:
People should be more concerned with how healthy they actually are and look rather than how healthy they may appear to be based on a set of numbers.
I am trying to become a cop.

Whatever Sweetchuck. Just stick next to Hightower during patrol.
The force needs guys who can fit under trailers for meth'd up nutjobs, too.
That's at least a valid reason. You're trying to get into a job where physical requirements can certainly come into play (not that I haven't seen many VERY out of shape cops).
I'm referring more to the guys who are smaller, and just want to put on weight because they feel that they have to in order to "look right".
Maybe, rub my belly and make a wish! c'mon.. you know you want to.
Exactly! Those meth addicts are squirmy fuckers!
Also, Canadian police are way different than American Police.
(they get paid a lot more!)
