This thread is a little like that other one started by, I think, ege02, the one about bragging. But instead of finding something you're the best at and things similar, just tick off your good qualities. We can share in being mutually awesome. For example, I'm a great conversationalist, and I expect some of the rest of you are as well. I have a good fashion sense. I'm not easily taken in by bullshit. I have excellent, albeit occasionally esoteric tastes in music. I never forget a face. I'm the best driver I know at MK: DD, and I know a lot of people who play. I tend to be an excellent judge of character, and I'm fantastic at reading body language.
What makes you so cool? What, after hanging out with you for a while, should people start to realize about your awesomeness?
If you want, list some of your flaws or quirks as well, to keep it interesting. I'm prone to getting tired or nervous around large groups of people. I'm terrible at introducing people, and I wait too long between haircuts.

Flaws: Huge ego, very blunt, stubborn and I get a little passionate during heated debates about everything from politics to why lean pockets < hot pockets.

* Endearing (some girl described me as that)

* Fantastic listener (to my dismay)

Negative qualities:
* I'm the exact opposite of "frugal"

* I don't handle criticism well, unless it's from a very respected source
* The first thing I think about when I see an attractive girl is "I wonder how good she is in bed"

-Incredibly devoted to whatever is the one thing that interests me at the time. Sometimes a bad thing, because the one thing changes quite readily. Sometimes it'll be a girl, sometimes its my martial arts, sometimes its thing like WoW.

Bad:
-I tend to be largely uncaring about other people if they don't matter to me
-I'm very quick to anger about things that I'm passionate about. I could stand by and watch a much bigger man beat up on a smaller man in a bar, and as long as I didn't know either of them I'd stay out of it, but I once beat a 16 year old into unconsciousness when I was 17 for torturing a kitten. He was burning its tail and paws with a cigarette lighter, poking its eyes with a stick and giving it sharp jabs with a red-hot knife (which I assume he heated with the lighter) Apparently he has brain damage. No one knows I did it,because he apparently doesn't remember who attacked him. Therefore I don't care.

I'm also an amazing suckup and brown-noser, and know exactly what to say to people. Yes I consider this a good quality. I don't use it in a manipulative way by any means, but it does help in the workplace and relationships. (i.e. promotions and being romantic)

Well this was kind of therapeutic. I was feeling a bit down when I came to work, now I'm all "hey I'm a great guy!"

my emotions reside in that wonderful happy place of neutrality. I find it very hard to get excited over things, even when they're very good. The exceptions are when something really nice happens for me, like for example if I dont' lose my driver's license at this court hearing on friday I'll be pretty fucking happy. Thats the downside. The upside is that when shit goes sour, I keep my cool and don't stress over it too much. Again, extremely negative things...breaking up with my girlfriend of 2 years got me down in the dumps for a few weeks...do affect me, but not for as long as most people.
I'm also painfully shy and prone to social anxiety, which means I can't stand crowds or parties with more than a couple people I don't know (and also that I suck at flirting and relationships in general.) I don't do small talk well at all. I get frustrated quickly. I work very hard at an actual job and am incredibly lazy about schoolwork. I know how to drive. I tend not to air my bullshit in public (the internet doesn't count.)

*I'm non-violent. Almost to a fault. Even thinking about causing physical harm (and often emotional harm) to other people makes me get all empathetic.
*I'm terribly polite. Terribly. If you don't spend a lot of time with me, you'll come away thinking that I'm the nicest guy on the planet. People I have a business relationship with love me. Parents of girlfriends love me. When I was a kid, adults loved me.
*I'm so introspective that I rarely get stressed out. I'm very good at thinking my way out of emotional death spirals, and I'm pretty good at helping others out of the same kind of thing.
