Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

[Drift City] Anyone else playing this game?

Is anyone else playing Drift City? Has anyone else even heard of it?

What is it?
Basically, it's a Korean MMO in which you grind by racing. FedEx missions galore, checkpoint races, "arrests" which are completed by crashing into other vehicles, etc.
It's surprisingly fun so far, though I'm still under level 10. My main complaint is that it's really too fast a game to be communicating with other players much. There are people talking in the chat channels, but I'm pretty sure they're all pulled over by the side of the road some place.

You start out with a selection of about five cars. Additional rides are unlocked by attaining levels 5, 11, 21, 31, 41, etc.

I really don't like having to download a random 1mb .exe after clicking on the download link for the full game (Labeled at 500 and something megs). Looks interesting, but I'm sure not gonna try it.

Yeah, I think that's related to their automatic update and/or anti-cheat system somehow. It randomly pops up when you launch the game. This is the same company that runs Gunbound and Gunz, if that helps their credibility any.
