New kitten name (with a catch)

Ok, in the right forum this time (way to go, me).
So, the wife and I just got a new kitten. He's very cute, but we're stuck for a name. He's a blue abyssinian, and we had a name all picked out -- for a ruddy (more brown and gold) one. And the name we had just doesn't work for this guy.
So here's the catch: the name can't be a pun, and the name shouldn't be video-game related. In fact, both of us are partial to food names and spice names. The not-gonna-work name was "Weetabix," but on the other hand, we're not going to call him "Beef Stew" either.

i like the name Fiddlesticks for a cat, shortened to fiddle sometimes. hehe
Woodruff, Hawthorn, Dill, Hops, Mace, Caraway, Sassafras, Wormwood. I also like the name Flexo because of his colour, or Dolomite because futurama made me think of that.
Good name.
My own suggestion- Leonidas. You can call him Leo for short.
or Koshka. Its Russian for cat, as far as I know
