Well in all honesty I could see that, if you can't show up on time for job training (I assume it would have been your first day) then it shows irresponsibility.
But 'on time' is +/- 5 minutes from the specified time. Granted being the 5 minutes early is a better message than 5 minutes late, but still.

On a normal day when you have been working a bit yes, but see if I am hiring on a new person and on their first day they are late even by a minute that is not a good sign. I mean it sucks for Cass, but I could see myself doing something similar, barring of course a good reason for being late.
The first response came back within minutes-- just "Not interested (NT)" when all that I'd said was my age and gender. Bummer machine! D:
