Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

thank you so much for your post and comments, I can´t tell you how happy I am to hear/read those words.
About doing comics, I always say this but it´s the truth: there´s nothing special or metaphysical about doing comics, the trick is to not think (or even talk) about it, just sit down and do it.
LOL
I´m glad you liked my cloths, sometimes I have WAY too much drawing them. ^_^
Ever wonder why the one echo Nadra picked from our good Lady Radamant was a colossal image of her mother?
Now you know why. ^_^
and smile ON their faces, not in
my skin is crawling, is that good?

LOL
Did I just give away that english is not my first language?
Skin crawling... nah, that happens to me all the time. ^_^
Aaahh, brotherly love.... isn´t it just lovely? ^_^
Courtyard backstabbings and power games between noblemen...
In portuguese, it would be "intrigas palacianas".... no idea of how to translate that into english.. "palace intrigue", maybe?
No, no... the wording is fine, but I think you meant Fell not Felt. Awesome comic, either way.
Thanks for spotting that one, I´ve corrected and re-uploaded the page.
Thanks, Dispatch! Glad you´re liking my little webcomic experiment.
There goes Nadra´s main hitter. ^_^
Who´s left... Puppy Poppy?
I can't really see what kind of weapon the guy in the last shot is firing, but isn't it a really short weapon to propel big grenades?
I just "stole" one of these.

"- What are you doing to my city?" ^_^
Have I mentioned yet how much I enjoy putting Aeron through hell? ^_^
Lady Radamant´s remark in the last panel ties to a tradition in ancient times of burying the dead with a coin over their eyes to pay for the ferry ride across the river Styx.
So long, Dude in Distress#1.
After all the trouble Nadra went through to save his sorry derrière...
Oh, well...
- At last we meet again,. Ms. Bond! ^_^
Buster Kegan is taking forever to rise from the dead, though... get up already, you lazy git!
No, she didn´t get Simon´s name wrong.
I'm having a little trouble figuring out whats right under the guys right hand
while he's being kicked. Is that a tree trunk?
Maybe positioning it there wasn´t a very fortunate idea...
Now would be a good time for some last words. ^_^
I have no idea what the story is even about any more, but it sure looks pretty.
What a week. First my site was down, then it´s up...
Oh, well, time to wrap up this chapter:
One more page to go and I´m taking suggestions on what bad@$$ Narkissa will look like.
No, really... at this stage, I have NO idea. ^_^
Next: Don´t bother picking dance partners, there´s gonna be enough whup@§§ in that can for everyone. ^_^
The opening 2-3 pages were going to have Aeron cursing left and right. I wanted to make him exhaust his four-letter words vocabulary. "- Die, you %$&!" would be the only inteligible thing coming out of his mouth.
But I figured it wouldn´t be half as fun using "$%&" instead of the actual foul language,
Nope, there´s absolutely nothing wrong with her speech pattern, it´s just your imagination. ^_^
I´m drawing Lady of the Horde by hand the old fashioned way, pencils and ink, but the grayscales are added later with Photoshop.
that is really weird, let me know if this works:
LADY OF THE HORDE 323
LADY OF TEH HORDE 324
Chapter 4
LADY OF THE HORDE 401
It´s a gift.
A person could learn a lot just by looking at how he is creating and crafting his images.
I love how a multitude of colours (like skin tone) all translate to white. It works very well over the grey dotted patterns in the background.
He's also got a real gift for rendering fluid lines.
Hey Eliseu, how long does it take you to complete a single page, start to finish.? And what kind of reference (like an wooden figurine) do you use to figure out human poses and perspective?
I really like your work.

It´s extremely dificult to quantify how much time I put into each page.
I (try to) upload a page a week.
I work around half an hour to an hour every day on that page, but then I waste about an afternoon (usualy sundays) scanning, compositing, grayscaling in Photoshop and lettering.
So, it could be anything from 8 to 12+ hours.
I often use reference images in my daily work but they can steal a bit of the joy and spontaneity I get from the creative process (oooh, big words ^_^).
So, at least for Lady of the Horde I try to draw straight from my head (same thing happens with the script, I have none).
EDIT: No, wait... I did use phot reference a couple times. Been a while but I recall that ahe helicopters (the Apache AH-64 and the Chinook) were drawn based on a couple aviation mags I keep around.
Not even a "thank you" to the girl who just saved your hide?
These Pendargrave boys are the worst. ^_^
Do you think maybe I should advise Simon to duck? ^_^
I was kind of disappointed not to see you in the CBRunway competition -you could wipe the floor there. Thanks to you and your European hero from last year, I've been somewhat active in their projects.
Have you looked into print distribution of Lady of the Horde?
LOL
Wipe the floor, me?
I dunno, there were lots of VERY talented and imaginative guys in there.
The latest CBRunaways was sweet, I´m glad you´re participating in their initiatives, those are always lots of fun.
No plans to have Lady of the Horde printed for now... it´s a miracle just to find time to finish one of these pages a week
Love the visuals, even if my mind is exploding trying to figure out what the hell is going on.
