Yeah, listen, I'm going to be honest with you guys.
I like this campaign, but I find the mechanics just too frustrating and limiting and I am just sick to death of 3.5 D&D.
My weekly D&D campaign tabletop has pretty much died for the same reason.
I'm just giving up on this, is the truth. I've got Unified to work on, which has been in development for almost a year now and is getting close to a functional playtest, and right now I just don't have the time to fight agains the system to get it to do what I want, from a functional standpoint.
So I'm abandoning this, which is a shame, but there it is.
I'm not going to be DMing anything on CF in the near future. I will still be playing stuff, like Dawn of Defiance, but I just do not have the time or creative energy to run anything right now.
Well, I'm not entirely sure how to phrase this, but thank you for being forthright. I had been hearing that some work was beginning on Unified again, and if I had to choose between continuing this game or seeing Unified grow closer to fruition it would hardly be a choice at all.
Good luck, Pony, this game was fantastic while it lasted but I'm okay with letting it go.
