Great. I now have a useless Leopard install DVD that I waited three extra days for. And I'll probably have to send the MacBook to an Apple Store because apparently the DVD drive is functionally retarded.

There was a DVD drive update available that I installed before popping in the Leopard DVD.

There was a DVD drive update available that I installed before popping in the Leopard DVD.

Software Update says there isn't anything new. My drive has been acting like this since about the time 10.4.10 was released. DVDs have generally worked the few times my mom has tried to watch them since then, but CDs (and now the installer DVD) are simply spun up twice and then ejected.

Edit: Actually, I think it started doing this when iTunes 7.4 was released. My mistake.

I am looking for something that is at "Lat. 280' 40'' N, Long. 82' 67'' W". Can anyone convert this into something Google Maps will understand so I can get a picture of it?

Oh man, the Forums are being very slow and icky today. I had to give up on checking which comic Elks used to lock the last thread because it gateway timed out twice trying to read the last page of [Chat].

So my property manager is letting someone in my unit to fix my toilet. I hope nothing goes wrong while hes in there. I also hope I don't get shit for trying to duct tape the thing as a temporary fix.

I'm a grad student, so I don't know if you'd technically call it a major per se, but I'm in the Biology department. Ribosomes are pretty cool, but this lecture was much more talking than learning.
