So I was watching The Karate Kid, and I realize that I'm rooting for Johnny.

I realized that I always root for the bullies, the thugs, the rich kids, the jocks, the Socs, the gangsters, etc. I want the winners to win and the losers to lose.

Am I alone in my complete disdain for the underdog?

Alternatively, this thread is about Cobra Kai.

    I got bullied a lot in middle school

    in between middle and high school I grew like a foot and got better looking, stronger etc

    The only movie where I rooted for the bad guy the whole way through was The Jackal. I'm too used to Bruce Willis being the good guy to go against him...and also, fuck Richard Gere.
