I've just put together a quick card consisting of that Portal front (with the companion cube) and a phrase put quickly inside it. I'm:

a) to cheap to buy it for $14.95 and
b) I'm in the UK and it wouldn't get here till after xmas.

I've wrote on the inside:

To <friends name>,

Enjoy your present,

I've then wrapped up an empty dvd case, wrote on a small slip of paper:

"The Present is a lie"

and popped it in the sleeve and just now wrapped it all up in xmas paper.

Methinks he'll appreciate it.

I've got mine finished but I've only got the inside image hosted so far. Have to wait until I can get at my home desktop to upload the front image.

Christmas card front - 188 dpi, 8.5"w X 5.5"h, 390kb

Christmas card inside - 188 dpi, 8.5"w X 5.5"h, 672kb

I was gonna lay the whole thing out with crop and fold marks but that woulda made more work on myself. The two halves will have some image area clipped by the printer margins. you can trim the white edges off when both sides ar done.

If I had my time back I woulda put white accents on the helmet and the backs of the gauntlets so Master Chief's colour scheme would look more like Santa's. I may do up a wallpaper of the same image or theme and implement that if anyone is interested.

I'm surprised this thread is so slow!
