That wasn't me.
You fail.
So, from yours?
You've continued to lower the bar.
This is crazy-talk. If informing authority figures actually will adequately resolve a problem there's nothing wrong with that course of action at all. I'm concerned with what people are expected to do when that will either not solve any problems or will imbiggen the existing problem or create more problems of its own. Which seems to be most of the time.

Please tell me why you insist on making every conversation personal.
Please.
Are you going to continue trolling, or shall we move on to more mature avenues of discussion?
Right.
I never said anything about violence or verbal sparring. Nice try though.
I agree. And what me and Fuzzy are saying is that a lot of the time, informing the authority figure proves to be only a temporary solution, so it does not "adequately resolve the problem". Most of the time it makes things worse, and you agree.
Wait, if we agree, why are you calling my talk "crazy"?
Sign of weakness? Are you aware that you're not talking about lions and tigers?
Drunks Against Mad Mothers
There's always a reason for an action. I doubt anyone would cut down their neighbors tree on an impulse. And even impulse is a reason. So alright, let's say they decide they want to park their car underneath a branch of my tree. He could park the car elsewhere, but he doesn't want to, so he feels his stuff is endangered and decides to cut down the branch and/or the whole tree. Maybe it's not a car, it's a garbage can. Maybe he wants to put up a satellite dish and my tree is blocking it.
These are great reasons for him, but it's my tree. Unless he can properly pay me back for whatever he's doing to my tree, he's wronged me. If the neighbor wants the tree down because of damages or inconveniences he could avoid with effort, why should I consent to the removal of my tree? If removing the tree is the only solution, he still requires my consent because it's my tree.
But this is where it turns into a matter of perspective. I'm sure to the neighbor I'm the bully because I'm preventing him from doing whatever because I won't get rid of my tree. To me, he's the bully because he's using the system and more to try and get me to get rid of my tree. I can't begrudge the guy for trying to better his situation, and he can't begrudge me for the same reason. Regardless, I'm still going to do everything in my power to keep him from taking my trees if I don't want him to, because they're mine.
The bully mentality is more animalistic than human.
So my point stands.
No, it isn't, even vaguely. You just live in some mysterious fantasy cloud world where everything is written in italics.
Choosing nonviolence over violence is a sign of maturity, ethics, and capacity for rational thought.
Time to irradiate this fucker.

I don't think you put the necessary emphasis on how stupid this stupid is. It's quite stupid. Words can't illustrate how stupid it is, only severe beatings would get the point across. If I only had the time and money.
