So on topic: we need nuclear power, and lots of it. Tell the NIMBY queers to fuck off, I nominate my backyard for the next reactor location.

Solar, Wind, and such are great but are subject to weather's whim. Unless some kind of storage medium is backing them up (and current battery technology isn't quite up to speed yet, I don't think).

It would be awesome to have your whole roof a photovoltaic cell though, if for no reason other than to offset your power usage. I would especially like this, because I want my next car to be that Chevy Volt. (Or Cadilliac, as I heard it might end up being)
