I just linked my Club Nintendo account with over 3500 stars, tried to log on to get Wii points on the Club Nintendo Europe site and it tells me that my Wii isn't linked to my Club Nintendo account, any reason why, or is there a 24 hour hiatus that they have to make sure my Wii account/email address match up?
If i've lost 3500 stars worth of Wii point's I will cry.
Easy, it creates artificial demand and prevents Nintendo from losing much in the way of profits from their what I suspect highly profitable money making scheme. (also known as virtual console)

I've got a spare copy of Portal, if anyone wants it message me.
The daft thing is, if they'd let me change all my stars into Wii points, I would have done, and would probably have spent them all pretty quickly on Yoshi's Story and Pokemon Snap and I'd be back buying them before long. As it is, I'm certainly not going to pay for any points, and by the time they let me trade any stars for them, I probably won't care about those games any more. So for me at least, Nintendo is losing money by this stupid restriction of Wii points.

b) They 'sold out' of Wii points by now anyway. The useless retards.
Stunning ineptitude.
