Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
I saw them a couple weeks ago in Montreal with the Dropkick Murphys (Hey, they are nice live) and they gave an awesome performance. I didn't know them before but I quickly became a fan.
I want to see Dropkicks on St Patrick's Day once I'm 18, and again when I'm 21, since I'll be able to be drunk at that one.
The bitch of it is, my birthday is about 2 weeks after St Patrick's Day.
Also, a local band that I like has a show this Sunday.
If I'm not working, I may borrow the car and go see them. They played at the Battle of the Bands last year, and were balls awesome.
I've spent the last week or so listening to almost nothing but the live Dropkick Murphys album, and the live Bouncing Souls album.
All kinds of goodness there.
If DKM's "Amazing Grace" is not part of this rotation, then you are forfeit.
Oh hells yes their version of Amazing Grace is in there.
You know how every album has one or two songs that you skip over?
This would be the exact opposite.
The live version of Barroom Hero is another great thing.

Interesting
I'll be picking this up tomorrow. If you're full of shit - and this is a very real possibility, given your track record of douchebaggery - I'll be very disappointed.
However, points awarded for simply listening to Dropkick. :^:

This isn't strictly true.
I skip the first two tracks. But, the first one is just the crowd chanting "Let's go Murphys," and the second is For Boston.
After that, though, it's Boys on the Docks and it just keeps getting better.

this is good news on all fronts
Also, grindcore: I don't get it. Napalm Death, Devil Driver...that's about as close as I can get.

Well it is part of the live album, so he should be listening to it.
Unless of course he's some kind of pinko commie.

DevilDriver is no where near real grind. Napalm Death however started the genre

That is how it should be.
I was too young when I saw them at Warped Tour like 5 years ago. I was so jealous when they downed like a case of Guinness on stage during their set.

I've only heard the one song off of it so far.
I might be getting it for Christmas, though.
Hopefully, I'll be getting the new Jimmy Eat World, too.
Because goddamn do I love me some Jimmy.
Like its a fact.

I consider this a great improvement.
That is pretty much what I thought.
