Torrent seeding from a Dreamhost account?

Has anyone seeded a torrent using their Dreamhost account before? I googled up a post that says they don't allow BT clients running because they open multiple ports and use a lot of disk access time, but does specifically only seeding fall under that category, and is seeding considered listening for an incoming connection?
I'm just looking to run a single seed connection (no multiple ports) to get things kickstarted for like an hour, then let it standalone on the peers that DLed the file already.
This link says people do this on Dreamhost, but the "news article" seems more like an ad to me as I've never heard of that site before.
