according to the sonic website, the nearest is in Oregon, just outside of Portland a little ways
I'd much rather go that way than go across the passes. We'd be close enough to the ocean that we could check it out and maybe swing through portland and check out Powell's Books

Maybe we should get a bunch of people to pool some money for gas and to rent a big-ass van for the day and have a big road trip just for the sake of going to Sonic.
on my campus is there is a little Japaneses dish restaurant that I tempted it eat at but in front of their coke machines they have a big sign that says "50 CENT REFILLS"...talk about a deal breaker.
I believe that taco bell is, in fact, the best fast food place
If by that you mean eating there is like buying a one-way ticket to Diarrheaville
Why do people always say this? Are you saying this just because everyone else does? I've never had any sort of digestive problems from eating at Taco Bell.

No... Geek... I'm saying it because Taco Bell gives me the runs

Man what.
Non-free refills.
Blasphemy.
Man half of all Asian places don't give you free refills.
It's some bullshit.
however if i ever lived anywhere near an in-n-out i would instantly become the world's biggest lard ass because i would have to make up for the years of my life where i was not eating at in-n-out

I wish Michigan had some less boring fast food burger chains. Every time I go to Southern Cal, In-N-Out ends up being one of the highlights of my trip.

It's the way they prepare the food, it opens your eyes.
I haven't had any fastfood in like 4 months.
Next time I do, it will be a double double and animal style fries, maybe a chocolate shake.
Fuck in-n-out is so good.
Soooooooooo good
Except the one here next to UCLA is run by idiotic college students who take forever, don't salt their fries and don't include all the food that I order and pay for. Fuck that one.

I don't go there too often though; I'm fat enough already.

In-n-out has nothing on'm.
No this is me giving tech support to people trying to use the Obama campaign’s virtual phonebank software
I haven't been to a Dick's over here in Seattle yet. The one in Spokane has the best inexpensive fast burgers ever.
The one I went to in Seattle show'd me the truth about cheap burgers. If only the rest of the fast food empire could learn from them.
I mean, c'mon, we're Nebraska, we know how to do beef right.
Good lawd people are dumb.
especially for a growing wee lad
Hardees is but a shadow.
the closest ones are in louisiana and south carolina
assholes
I know
what up with that

HARDLY A DAY GOES BY THERE IS NOT A SONIC COMMERCIAL ON MY TV

A little more expensive for a lot more quality. They never freeze the meat, it's fresh and you can totally taste it.
I'd been told about it many times, but when I saw them putting that potato in the cutter and throwing it right in the fryer I was in awe.

at first I thought it was solely because they made great food
it turns out they get paid like $10-11 an hour to sling burgers
Friendly staff. Good service.
Great food.
But they're both about 30 minutes away, which is kind of a hassle.
Oh well, it keeps it special if you only go once every few months.
Chik-fil-a.
