    Being from Lower Canadia, I wouldn't mind at all hanging out with some Commonwealth types, if there's pubbing, do post somewheres. I plan to try finding the Crawl at some point too, assuming I can get into town fast enough.

    This 'Shortys' place I hear of sounds like fun, but the crawl does as well. I land at 9:50 tho, due to the airline changing my flight, so I'll have to catch up mid-run. I assume if one polishes off several beers in a go one can jump in.

    Me and Lewie fly in on the Tuesday late afternoon, and are doing the Magical Mystery Tour on Weds/Thurs, the pre-PAX dinner and then Shorty's bar on Thursday evening. We currently have no plans for Tues or Weds evenings, we're having breakfast at Pike Place on Friday, then I'm going to Seattle Uni to do some work stuff, then PAX-ing all weekend. Oh, and we're part of the badge swap, and are playing Assassins - he put me in charge of our social schedule, and I do like to be busy!

    Quite a schedule there LPM! For me its flying in to Seattle on Thursday, check into hotel then pick up my me....oops...umm yes badge thingy then meet up with podcast co-hosts for a meal. From then on we're not entirely sure. I know VT wanted to meet up during the pub crawl after the Pre-PAX dinner.

    Rats! I thought it was there in the middle of the crawl. How can I have got that so wrong? Well, i don't know where I'll be now, I can't walk far enough to do a pub crawl without making myself ill, so i guess I'll have to go to the mid-point after the Pre PAX dinner.

    Just because you're mentioning Shorty's, on Fridays and Saturdays the place is usually pretty packed (like most bars), but with a lot of hipsters and scensters. I'm just letting you know because i'm not sure if 1) you're hipsters. 2) You're scenters or 3) You may not like that type.

    While it does have Pinball and Ms. Pac-Man, the only real reason to go to Shorty's is to sit down, get a Chicago-Style Hot-Dog and drink seriously cheap beer (i.e. Pabst).

    If you want good beer, don't go to Shorty's.
