Looking for a program

....and hoping you guys can help out. What I am wanting to do is create a photo slideshow as an .mpg or other movie format. I'm also wanting to include video clips and sound bytes. I am working on making something for the wife for Valentines day, and thought Windows came with a program, but I can't seem to find it.

Any recommendations? Freeware is usually preferable, but I don't have a problem going out to buy a program if it's good.

    Windows Movie Maker does that exact thing. :) It should be included on your computer. Go to Start-> Programs, and it should be at the end of the list.
