Haven't been able to post at work, hence my lack of posts; PvP is neither encouraged nor discouraged. Sometimes stabbing someone in the back will net you a short term gain and a long term detriment, and some matches WILL be PvP-only.

I'm shooting for doing the first event starting this Monday. This campaign will be PbP, if it hasn't been said yet. I'll probably just sucker punch the lot of you with a yellow shocker lizard.

This is my filthy, deranged, self-important, evil Gnome. Enjoy.
Morningstar should do 1d6-1.
Edit: you're also short one skill (or 4 skill points, at least), as you can only put two ranks in Intimidate.
Edit2: you don't have enough gold for your familiar yet, or for the potion. You start with 75g.

Also want to clarify on the PvP thing a bit. One-on-one fights are going to be rare, simply because very few people would ever get higher than 1st level. Most of the content (that I generate at least) is going to be team vs. objective, so that characters can develop, but I will not in any way be stepping in to prevent PvP conflict. If someone jumps you, you had better be ready for it, or have friends you can call in for backup.
That being said, if you go around stabbing everyone in the back, they probably won't trust you or be willing to come to your aid when you need help. I would treat this socially as kind of a Phalla, in that you can't really be sure of whom to trust, because everyone has the potential to turn on you.

I started with 75, the potion was 50, so how much is the familiar?
I didn't see anything on that. I'm sort of intermediate to novice on the game as a whole.

And why -1?
To summon a familiar takes 100g, per the description of the class ability. Also, while the potion is 50g, the rest of your gear puts you over 75g: the crossbow is 30g, the morningstar is 8g, the spell component pouch is 5g, and the bolts are 2g, plus you have caltrops and a sack. That puts you at 95g+.

you have 8 strength also
Familiar
A sorcerer can obtain a familiar. Doing so takes 24 hours and uses up magical materials that cost 100 gp. A familiar is a magical beast that resembles a small animal and is unusually tough and intelligent. The creature serves as a companion and servant.
The sorcerer chooses the kind of familiar he gets. As the sorcerer advances in level, his familiar also increases in power.
If the familiar dies or is dismissed by the sorcerer, the sorcerer must attempt a DC 15 Fortitude saving throw. Failure means he loses 200 experience points per sorcerer level; success reduces the loss to one-half that amount. However, a sorcerer’s experience point total can never go below 0 as the result of a familiar’s demise or dismissal. A slain or dismissed familiar cannot be replaced for a year and day. A slain familiar can be raised from the dead just as a character can be, and it does not lose a level or a Constitution point when this happy event occurs.
A character with more than one class that grants a familiar may have only one familiar at a time.

Alright, I got it now. Fixing. What about the crossbow damage?
Krul, Gruk, and Cledis look good, but Cledis still has a bunch of monies to spend. Perhaps an armor upgrade, like scale? It's only 35g more.

Cletus is going to get rid of his armor at level 2, anyway. Or am I giving too much away? Plus he's got "leather overalls."

I brought a golf bag of weapons to avoid the chain.
Also, EWP? Fuck that. Improved Trip/Disarm for life.
Needed to be proficient in the chain. I know stupid retarded builds with a chain exist, but this is pretty much just because I wanted to be some super dexterous elf with some kung foo shit going on.

It's a bit of a toss-up; I waffle back and forth as to whether it's mildly unbalanced or not.
A regular chain has hardness 10, and 5 hp, you could go with that... though a spiked chain, being a weapon, might be a bit sturdier and have 10 hp like a light metal-hafted weapon.

man I almost went with my douche-nozzlish human spiked chain fighter with imp trip and 18 str
but then I remembered I do not want to be banned from this thread
I haven't forgotten you guys; my work schedule changed at the last minute, so it has set me back a bit. I already have the first event in my head; I just need to draw up the map.
I will also need a 1d20 roll from each of you that wish to participate. I would also be grateful if someone could bunch all the existing character links on one post. Who knows, it may even grant some in-game benefit! (Probably not. :P)
Also, Marzim Tiam: cute name. :P
Anyone with memorized spells (I think that is just Marzim, for now), please PM me your list of spells prepared for the first event. You have no hints as to what that event might be, so prepare accordingly. (Or unaccordingly, I guess?)
