I find mavs have too many firing problems from rapid fire so I carry two modded nfs for sides and a longshot as my primary.
If you can find a magstrike (now the stark industries NRF) you can easily mod it so it can whip through two clips with a single fill of the air chamber with decent range withing a few seconds. Its also automatic and cleans house up close.
That said I wish I still had my awesome nerf bow
I really wish someone would come out with a good semiautomatic gun. Something that actually had some distance

And there were those spider-man wrist ones that loaded three darts and you had to pump up and you could either fire them all at once or one at a time
Those were fun
It's semi auto-matic actually, The trigger actually rotates the clip and it's fired by two little wheels that spin around kind of like the auto baseball picters.
It's ok, you can dump alot of rounds quickly but it is by no means accurate at all.

If you want to give it a stiffer trigger there is actually a spring underneath the catch that you can make stiffer. I snagged one from the hardware store, cut it to size and voila. No more misfires, at least on mine. I assume if you use too stiff of a spring it could actually break the plastic.

What kind of rate of fire does that thing get?
The box claims it gets 3 rounds a second with fresh batteries but I don't think it's that consistent.

Only thing I have to say is I don't like either the box or that weird handle you were supposed to put on top
They get in my way when I try and use it
The box could be fixed by being on the other side and having the whole mechanism reversed
But I was disappointed at how difficult that handle was to take off the top. I got it, in the end, but stupid shit like that should really be removable.
So are there any necessary mods for this mean motherfucker?

I want some way of modding one of these to move the parts in. It looks cool as shit with the sawed off barrel and the short handle
