Wouldn't be the first time MN had incorrect info though.
EDIT: Here's what I read from one of the devs on the MS forums:
It does indeed - A few of the dudes in our IRC were playing multiplayer just today.
Insofar as level-sharing, this is what I got from Mare: "Currently you can only share levels with your friends; we had public level sharing working, however after the forza scandal we had to remove this feature for legal reasons.. sometime in 2008, if/when microsoft figures out how to deal with user-made content (legally and operationally) this feature will be activated via a patch -- it works, it's just disabled currently. for now it's friends-only.. this is maybe the one case where the handhelds are going to be better than the XBLA version, as they have a public database for level sharing."
With that in mind, we have a really close-knit community at the official forums, and of course, you guys can definitely share levels here -- I notice there's a thread up already for friend requests, so it shouldn't be hard to find another whose maps you can enjoy.
What's the Forza scandal? I don't recall ever reading about that.

I'm going to assume it involved people painting porn on their cars and posting the designs.

I just tried this. Very awesome. I even went as far as making a diabolical level. Both exits take patience and time. I know this level is going to piss someone off, somewhere, but I swear it is doable.
Bought'd and loving it. Only got chance to play a few stages up to now, nice and easy to start with but from experience with the pc version I know it's going to get a WHOLE lot more brutal.

Ah your my friend , so I made some levels - can you see them/play them?

I dunno, I'll have a look when I get in from work tonight! If they're painfully difficult and cause injury to my forehead then I'll come looking for you!
I got the secret achievement trying to finish 14-4 Master Control, and so will everyone else.
Someday I'll beat that level.

Yeah. Master Control was a bitch. I didn't get the secret achievement from it, but I'm sure I'm about halfway there.

I just want to repeat this. If you're playing multiplayer co-op and you don't have a mic turned on,
FUCK YOU and go to HELL! Take that shit to race or survival. This game is hard enough without you having Lemmings flashbacks and running into the same goddamn missle twenty fucking times in a row when all you have to do is wait twenty seconds for me to trip the switch so we can end the fucking map.

I'll play with you if you want. I have a mic and also hate this kind of dumb shit.

I'm currently stuck on Back To School in 22. I can't figure it the fuck out.
The best thing about the XBLA version is that it has the replays of the Top 10 people on the Leaderboards. So if you want hints or a way to try and beat the level, press start, go into the leaderboards for that Episode and view their replays.

Im pretty sure everyone already knows this, but sometimes in the background of the main screen it shows clips of you playing the game.
Oh yes, Back to School was a bitch (just loaded it up). Took me like 45 minutes.
I can give you my strategy:
1. You can do a standing jump that reaches the walls in little opening right to the left of your starting point. Do that and wall jump into that lower left box. Tag the gate toggle switch. Avoid the blue things.
2. Go to the right box. Avoid the blue things.
3. Drop down through the BOTTOM of the lower right box and run right under the rocket turret and the rocket it fires at you. When you get to the short 45 degree incline, start wall jumping up the right side. You MUST be efficient here and outpace the rocket. Wall jump AWAY from the right wall to the top right corner of the top right box as soon as you can. The rocket may or may not smash into the wall depending on your timing. Regardless...
4. Hopefully you no longer have a rocket after you. Either way, you should drop down through the TOP of the top right box, evading the blue things, and hitting the toggle on the way down. As long as you land on the incline in the lower right box, you shouldn't die. If the rocket is still after you, head to the right a few paces UNDER the lower right box. Once the rocket hits a wall, go left again.
5. Then climb back into the lower right box, then back into the lower left box, and then down to your starting position to hit the EXIT GATE toggle. Tag it.
6. Repeat steps 1 and 2. Wall jump up the right side, outpacing the rocket.
7. Leap off the wall to the top of the top right box, and then run and jump leftward up top to get into the EXIT GATE.
I just found an easier way to make sure the right rocket doesn't follow you for very long in Back to School:
DROP from the lower right box. Run right a few steps. As soon as the rocket launches the rocket, pause for ONE BEAT and then resume running right. This rocket will smash into the ground behind you. When you get to the incline, start wall jumping. The second rocket will smash into the right wall, right near the bottom. Then, assuming you're good at wall jumping on one side with proper momentum, you should VASTLY outpace the third rocket. You can then jump to the right corner of the top right box (from the wall at the top) and the third rocket should angle into the corner and smash into it, leaving you free and clear.
I just want to repeat this. If you're playing multiplayer co-op and you don't have a mic turned on,

Half the fun of multiplayer comes from schadenfreude.

Episode 24, level 4: Paper Thin Walls. Hardest shit ever.
That level caused me to go into a blind rage. I mean, its bad enough it allows zero room for error, and it takes awhile to complete, but serious time constraints to? Thats just mean. :x
I did beat it though. After 50 minutes of practice....

Is the editor capable of creating co-op levels? I've got an evil idea brewing in my head.

Thanks.
Love this game.
I'm actually shocked that I love it this much.
I can't believe I'm finally getting awesome quick co-op that isn't Aegis Wing.
I bought it. I probably could've lived on the demo but too many people were talking about it. It's kind of fun.

Also, FUCK "Mission Control." I finally beat it but hell's bells that was hard. "Ninja in the City" was a bitch too.
Someday I'll beat that level.
