I discovered what the X button did 20 seconds in to play. I was amused. Now it's come in handy countless times trying to get a decent time on a level. Fucked it up? Explode!
So what's the deal with that level where it's a big X shape, with two rocket launchers in the middle, and a switch underneath them? I forget the number, but it appears to be fucking impossible. Around level 30ish I think.
Also, SpazMuffin: I suck at this game, but I am owning you on the leaderboards. You need to raise your game

Master Control? Yeah, that one is one of the major roadblocks. It's possible, but crazy.
Just wait until you get to Paper Thin Walls. Goddamn.

Can we get the chemicals in. 'Cause anything's better than this.
Once I got down the first door button, I finished it first try on everything else.
See, I had no trouble with the first door button in the slightest but timing the jumps on the other bits utterly KILLED me.
Incidentally I hate you for being far better than me.
::Edit:: Regicid3, I'll add you when I get home tonight.
Trust me, I died far too many times on the first door button trying to do stupid (re: awesome) leaps to float through the mines in a line that I still believe is theoretically possible.
The mines and enemies have a HUGE invisible hitbox around them. It's not a nice thing to have in a game that requires pixel-perfect precision.
This may be only applicable to those playing the game in 1080p like I am.
I'm playing on 1080i, and zoomed in when dealing with massive bot infestations. I have slid around the curve of a robot before, so I think you might be slightly mistaken.
Then again, in my experience missiles tend to ignore that they just flew through corners.
So are the levels in this game completely different than the 500 found in the original N? I would hope so, but I can't be sure. Also, is the episode set up similar? (Where epsiodes get harder as you go from 1 to 9, then the difficulty drops back down for 10, getting hard until 19, and dropping back down at 20, etc.) I found the set-up great, as it allowed you to take a breather from the constant death.

It's very much there. I can't stand near a mine or get within a ninja's width away from a robot without dying horribly.
Erm, you don't actually have to touch a shocking drone for the electricity to arc at you. And it is very easy and often required that you pass by a shocker with only two grid spaces to hold the both of you. So basically I am saying that you just suck and need to try harder.
Dunno if I've done that one yet. I THINK I'm up to 25-something.
I got passed Paper Thin Walls and then finished the next section of stages too. I'll probably pile some time in to it tonight.
Is it two player on one console?
Hexacity is 42-4. Once you get the pattern down, it should be easy, that is if the missiles don't start doing the aforementioned 'hey did you know that I can go through walls now k die?'
I shall add you, although one of my friends has pinched my only Xbox 360 pad, which infuriated me because I wanted to play it last night. I'm not bad at the game but i'm far from awful.
I think the mines intentionally have a bigger hitbox; they're proximity mines, you see.
I'm surprised to say, I actually like the PC controls better than the 360 controls. The analog stick makes it hard to change direction of force as rapidly; the D-pad could be better if the 360 controller D-pad wasn't so godawful.

My zombie survival life simulator They Don't Sleep is out now on Steam if you want to check it out.
I just bought N+ and I'm throwing a party soon. There shall be four-player ninjaing with alcohol involved. Clearly this improves our ninja-like reflexes.

I don't know about reflexes, but that ninja's balance on angled terrain couldn't be any worse anyway, so booze it up.

Hexactly can go to hell.
If I have a rocket go through a corner or dip through the side of a wall one more time my controller is going to have teethmarks.
Edit: Hahahahahaha Episode 42 complete. I think all together I have 4 or 5 episodes left.
I got passed Paper Thin Walls and then finished the next section of stages too. I'll probably pile some time in to it tonight.

And it's up to 4 players on one console.
I managed to rank in the top 100 on one set of stages. I was most proud (although no doubt by now I've been beaten out again).

Add me for some multiplayer madness.
But so fucking hard too
Gah.
This is why it pays to stock up on time on the first and second levels of an episode.
well I have plenty of time now, but I cannot figure out how to avoid the rockets the entire time.
14-5... Mission Control, right? Watch a video if you're totally stumped. That one's quite the little bitch.
i figured it out, it just execution. I can't seem to be able to jump a wall anymore and I feel like kicking my 360 in to my TV.
edit - fucking finally.
