So at the shopping centre today when I was buying groceries, I walked past the Fossil store and decided to look at the wrist watches available.

They had a pretty rad selection - and I kinda had a hankering to start wearing a watch again.

I easily gave in to the temptation and bought this baby. It's "automatic" (aka kinetic), so as long as it gets worn every 2 days, it will stay in time forevar without the need for batteries.

I also liked this one and this one, but they were a bit too pricey.


Takes my brain a second to register the exact time, but I'll get used to it.

Now, show off your wrist watches (or other bling yo).

(ps, watches are the only jewelry I ever bother wearing)

Yah I used to wear a wrist watch heaps, when I was younger, but it got knocked around heaps (tends to happen when you're at 15y/o kid).

So I'm kinda used to it already.

And my phone does the same thing - but not as classily.

this guy i met recently is fucking loaded with cash. he got an iphone from his parents, and just gave it to a friend for free because he didn't like it. he has gone through about 12 blackberrys and throws them around all over the place if it doesn't work exactly how he wants. and im over here with the free phone that came with the phone plan for t-mobile, just watching this dude wreck the shit out of a blackberry because he is a spoiled bitch.

There are a lot of SKX series variations but this one is one of the rarer ones being orange, of which there are only a couple in the model range, as well as a Japanese domestic market (hense the J) model which has the round markers on the dial instead of lines and brass-colored bezel markings instead of silver.

It's a really rad watch.

Fairly cheap too, about $200 shipped from ebay. For a real mechanical automatic watch, that's a steal.

I'm a lefty and cannot be doing with having a watch anywhere other than on my left wrist. I got mocked by people and even told off by a number of teachers, so eventually I gave up on watches. Plus goddamn it is expensive to buy a nice watch

I can't wear watches. I can never remember to wear anything but the bare necessities. On average I'm expected to remember underwear, pants, shirt, socks and shoes. Every single day. You know how hard that shit is? For this reason I can never wear watches, hats (also I have long hair and look like a stupid with them), carry a wallet, mp3 players, or even jackets. Last winter I lost a total of three jackets on tour because I would forget to put them back on.

And for Dublo, black looks good with everything, silver looks good with...pretty much everything as well. It doesn't really matter.
Edit. Go with black. It's mysterious.
