Living around around 50 miles from the lego headquarters I have been there a few times (went to Legoland DK every year when I was a kid, the HQ, legoland and the factories are all in the same town), its really awesome.

Like they give free LEGO sets on the guided tours, they have the best and largest sets built in the foyer (and some kind of skyscraper LEGO thingie.

If you are really pursuasive you can even talk them into allowing you to take some bricks from the machines where they are made. Also their warehouse is fucking huge, there was a number of insanely large rooms just filled with boxes after boxes of LEGO, with robots milling about delivering and retrieving boxes.

All in all a very cool experience.
