I also echo ttvp's concern about people building things that aren't very good. Imagine, if you will, one hundred LEGO vehicles made by 5-year-olds with the occasional model done by a 10 and then 15 year-old standing next to two done by weeping 26-year-old virgins.
Now combine that with World of Warcraft.
This is what I see when I think realistically about a LEGO MMO and so I'm much more in love with the concept than with the reality. I'd prefer a bunch of small, closed servers so as to have some kind of consistent level of quality involved.
