The UK does grade differently, however. It's not nearly as bad as it sounds.
I have 34" inside leg so I never have a problem sitting down but I do have a fairly short body, so I can be sitting next to someone a couple of inches shorter than me and not appear taller.
I did forget about those dumb american schools who give everone 87% and a smiley face sticker for every essay.
40 is a passing grade here people, 70% is first class.

For my course at Sheffield Uni, only 1 in 12 people get offered a place because it is that popular/sought after. So you had to have top grades, and even with all of that, precisely 1 person out of the 65 in my year got a first class.
Oh, and you want to be a vet or a doctor? I mean, never mind that you have to the best of the best in sciences and math. Once you start college most of you can kiss goodbye to ever making above 50% ever again.
Being tall is pretty keen, but occasionally I wish I was short. There's short dudes store near my gym and their stuff looks really cool. I don't even get to shop at the Big and Tall stores since they're really Big and Fat stores.

It's ok but you hear alot of short people whinge to you about how your life must be totally easier, just because you are tall.
Oh and stepping up into low door frames is really painfull.
