Computer Trouble

Sony Vaio PCV-RX752 is the model.

So, about 75% of the time, my computer fails to pass the windows black backdrop/blue bar loading screen.

Safe mode starts up fine, but safe mode w/ networking doesn't seem to ever work. Stalls on a driver called mup. So I'm guessing that's the center of the problem.

Any tips would be great.

    If you feel like sorting through 38 pages or whatever there might be a solution in there that works. Seems like it's different for everyone, but a quick scan through shows me that a few people have fixed it by enabling/disabling some sort of power saving setting in the BIOS, which would be different depending on the computer. Try that.
