I've been chatting with this girl from the Netherlands for a little while now over MSN. Introduced by a mutual friend. She's 17, is sick with something the doctors can't figure out so she's really small, and she just got into a fight with her mom. Her mom pulled out her hair and scratched up her throat bad enough to make it run blood.
I said she should contact something like http://www.kindertelefoon.nl/ but she's scared. I don't know anything about Dutch law concerning child abuse or even what resources there are. I understand I can't actually do anything, especially since I live on the other side of the world, but what info can I give her to help?
PS No need to inform me of the possibility it's not true. Personally, I believe her, but since all I can do is give her info it doesn't really matter, anyway.
