    311's material up to the mid-late 90's is solid stuff, and they are still a good live band (IMO) however everything post 90's material is pretty bad/grating/uninteresting.

    311 is ok. They have catchy songs, but I hate their bassist for certain specific reasons. I'd never go to a concert that didn't have someone else playing.

    In my opinion they'd be so much better if someone else wrote the lyrics and sang the songs.
