Oh is that why there haven't been any new episodes. Lame. I have been liking it, even though the cg is reeaaally weak.

I love the characters and hate that thing that happened at the end of the last episode.

I like how everyone thinks Eli is in on some big secret or knows everything that's going on and he's all just "man, I just solved a puzzle in a video game, what the hell, people?" and then he ends up saving everyone with a basic idea no one thought of anyway.

No I was pretty sure that was just an intelligent life living on the planet. Just really, really weird life. Which makes sense since they are halfway across the universe.

It will be interesting to see what, if any, other life they will run into.

I meh'ed at that. I've been through harsh caffeine withdrawl and its fucking terrible (the worst one I had left me barely able to walk and puking, then passed out for 4 hours), but I doubt I'd be all haphazard willing to kill people due to that.

I loved how even with the caffeine explanation and his willingness to drop from the lottery, he still came off as a dick by the end of the show.

only ones I still dislike is Lt. Bland Priest Boy and Senator's Daughter, and I only don't care for her when she's being dumb with him. Does a pretty good job when she's friend-zoning Eli

that it was possible he knew all along that Destiny wasn't doomed and could refuel somehow. that putting people on a shuttle was really dooming THEM. when Young confronted him on it he really didn't answer.

I don't think he really knew and was more likely punishing himself for some reason by keeping others at a distance when they're finally starting to warm up to him

like Eli said, he acted genuinely surprised. even when he was checking the computer by himself

plus letting the colonel put all their useful supplies on the shuttle would've been a really dumb thing to do if he knew all along

but maybe I'm giving the writers too much credit?

Eh true. He did look surprised, but who knows surprised at what. At maybe how exactly the recharge worked, or how efficiently, etc.

But the writers are pretty great on this, and past, Stargates.
