Lil math help:
I understand the double angle formula, but where I'm tripping myself up is at this part:
cos4A=>
cos2x2A=>
2cos^2 2A-1
I understand that cos2A = 2cos^2A-1, but I dont understand how they are hoping from the second part to the third part.
Any help would be appreciated (as well as if someone wants to clean up the above).
