    This show was one of the few anime series that, filler episodes included, was almost flawless. Even though I was an adult at the time I watched it, and largely done with my "anime phase" I found myself hopelessly wrapped up in Cowboy Bebop.

    I mean when I was a kid I used to watch a lot of mini-series and whatnot on Sci-Fi (Saturday Anime block was my god - seeing a dude explode in a gory splash of brain and bone is just altogether too awesome for a ten year old to watch.)

    Edit: Yeah, Jet was pretty awesome. His voice acter was perfect.

    I don't know. I'll probably get yelled at for saying this but the actual story arc in this series was rather week. The ending was especially anti-climactic.

    I have a serious hatred for it because of that.

    I've been meaning to watch this show for years. When I was like in eighth grade I dismissed it because I thought it was a children shows (I just assumed that based on no evidence whatsoever) and I sorely regret it. I liked what I saw of Samurai Champloo and imagine Bebop will be just as good, if not better.

    the episodes non-pertinent to the character arcs were more enjoyable for me but that's just how i roll.

    This is true. For me the arc episodes are the weakest. The stand alone stories are the bestest ones.

    this show taught me a very valuable life lesson. Don't leave things in the fridge.
