i saw i different season 3 preview on adult swim on march 31st (no it wasn't an april fools joke, which i was thinking initially). when i saw the OP i assumed it was that, but it turned out to be a different 5ish minute clip that also involved dr henry killinger.

i don't have a link or anything, but it was quite funny. there's got to be someone on the internets who made a copy of it.

either way, i'm really looking forward to S3. Only show that beats it IMO is battlestar galactica.

Season 3 is gonna be awesome. I watched the entire series again with Rachel when she was here, and she loved it.

Although she did say that sometimes the references take over the show sometimes (like The Monarch and the prostitute).

I have the 10 minute season 3 preview but im not sure if i want to watch it.
On the one hand it only has dialog without the sound effects or music... on the other it's the fucking Venture brothers.
Anyone else seen it? Is it still great beyond reckoning or will it just have spoiled the jokes for me when i see the real deal?

I think its a safe bet that season 3 will have more than 10 minutes of jokes.

I never really gave a shit about the Venture Bros (never watched an episode) until somebody linked me the famous "straight talking" section from the Season 1 Finale with the Monarch explaining crime to a bunch of punk kids in prison.

"Next thing you know you've got a jet shaped like a skull with lasers on the front!"

After that I was hooked.

The whole intro to the second episode in season 2 (right after The Monarch has broken out of jail and calls up 21 and 24... with the whole dum duming of Mars) is just about the greatest thing ever.
