Lightning crackled from the towers, not once but twice - spreading destruction in their wake. But it proved too much for one of the towers, making it explode as it shoot it's second payload. Calypso could smell the end, and he was greatly looking forward to it, the five where putting on a great show, and he was truly enjoying every single minute of the action going on down there.
Everyone seemed to have found a common target this time around, atleast it seemd that way for Dark tooth, as multiple short bursts of lead poured into him, being a bit slow also made it impossible for him to move out of the way of the remote bomb placed in front of him. And to add insult to injury - a skull shaped missile finished him off, making him go out in a ball of fire.
Grasshopper was also marked for elimination it seemed, as lightning fried most of the electronics inside her car, a giant ice cream shaped missile smiled towards her as it colided into her. The last that she saw was a ghost missle heading straight for her head as she landed on top of Spectre in one giant leap. As Krysta died, Calypso cried out in pain over his loss. They had killed his daughter and they would indeed pay for this, if not in this tournament - then certanly in the next one. Marking down the drivers that had done this, he continued to focus on the remaining three.
Spectre did not like this one bit, as the weight of grasshopper was slowly crushing him down, pushing down the gas pedal, he managed to sverve out from under her at last as a homing missile hit him square on. Beaten and bruised he looked up to the sky - knowing he was that much closer to victory.
Mr Grimm was probably the luckies one of them all - but the lightning was taking it's toil on him - seeing everything that was going on, he hightailed out of there - hoping the others wouldn't follow.
Sweet Tooth was also hit by the remote, but upon seeing his father die in an explotion, he became enraged. Seeing red everywhere - he drew on inner strength, which made him overcome most of the damage that he sustained, but he was in no way or shape in good condition.

Must've been nice to have armour.
I had like a point of armour. Instead of armour, I had.... Healing. Lots and lots and lots of healing, one a day past day 2 until it stopped being offered for sale...
And I survived by less than 200 health pretty well every single night until I died.
I have no idea if that's luck or my mad driving skillz, though.

Having a fast car is definitely an advantage that way. Use some nitro, shoot people, move out of range...very handy. I can't imagine having a 1 speed and being able to do anything useful other than drop remotes, honestly.
