So, I did the inevitable and dropped my iPhone, which promptly splintered into a million pieces. After getting it replaced, I'm looking into buying some sort of carrying case that will make owning an iPhone a little more carefree.

I want a case that, optimally, is small, doesn't have a belt clip, and is not made out of rubber or leather. It should protect both the case and the screen itself.

Any suggestions?

I use a $12 case my buddy got me for Christmas this year from Best Buy. I only have a Touch, but the case is clear hard plastic and has protected it after numerous falls from up to four feet. Well worth the investment.

It appears he either told me it was less than it was or he got it on sale.

Edit 2: You know, I don't think that's the one I have. Mine actually has a hole for the camera on the iPhone.
