I wish there was some way to restrict what music is used to a specific playlist, I ended up just temporarily removing a bunch of stuff from iTunes so it wouldn't index soundtracks and such.

Tweaked settings make a difference - with only two overlapping songs and six-second clips, the effect is much less "music all jammed together" and more like the opening of Contact:

What settings are you using? I use six-second clips, 100 maximum songs, no limits on what comes from an artist/album.

Mine's goin' now.

100 songs - 3 secs, 5 layers.

It's placed Pink Floyd and Avenged Sevenfold side by side so far, so this should be interesting to say the least.

EDIT: And I just noticed the thing that says it doesn't include songs bought from the iTunes store - which is pretty gay, cause I have some good stuff from there.
