Monday/Wednesday would be ideal for me, any time at all those days.

Early in the week seems the way to do it, so far. I'll edit the thread title and see if we get any more interest, and then start taking apps.

Time for me to hit the crunchy, then.

Do you have Winter Masques and Rites of Spring? Just want to know what I can use for my character.

I'm completely free on weekends. I could probably play during the week either early on (I have work at 3) or later (I should get out at 8)

As already stated, the games are going to be PST-based, so keep that in mind. I only have the core book, but I may be picking others up. Just keep in mind the more supplements you want me to use, the longer it will take to get the game started, as I am just reading the core whenever I have time right now.

Well, there's only two noteworthy supplements. Winter Masques, which is a pretty quick read, and Rites of Spring. Rites of Spring is handy, but mostly just elaborates on things that've already been touched on so it's not too much of a slog either.

I think that until further notice, people should be able to make ample use of the tools available in the Core book for their characters.

Yeah, using the core book is in no way limiting. There's enough in there already to do pretty much anything.

I am potentially interested in playing this having gotten my mits on all the C:TL material so far, but my one problem is my internet connection is slightly unstable. I can use IRC, I may just disconnect randomly.

Plus coming up with a working character concept in a game with this many options is gonna take a bit.

As long as this is running on a PST schedule and doesn't interfere with the Exalted game, I'm in if you can tolerate my noobness.

    I'm consistent in showing up!

I'm throwing together a concept tonight, a Mirrorskin Darkling, sort of a private eye type person.

    Lovin' it.

Depending on when this gets off the ground, I could be interested in trying out a game of Changeling. I've never played WoD, but after seeing the book and going through some of the stuff, it actually looks pretty slick.

I'll see how the planning process is after Wednesday, as that is the last of my finals.

Whenever you're available, I'd like to go over a concept with Rain or Defrag over AIM or IRC.

    I'm thinking a Cyclopean Ogre.

Ok, I ironed out my concept with Rainfall.

I'll send it over to you Defrag, I've settled on a Stonebones Ogre.

Don't worry about the timeframe, as the ST is still rolling through the core book.

Don't be offended if I don't respond overmuch to character apps already, seeing as how I'm still reading the core, I might not have too much to offer by way of constructive criticism.

EDIT: Though, Rainfall, I will say I liked your concept upon reading it. Good work.

FreeAgent, we will probably still be very early on in the process come Wednesday. Don't sweat it.

Gonna go sit down with the book for a while while I cook dinner, so hopefully I'll be able to respond more in depth to sheets and specific questions soon.

I'm rolling up my lad, give me a day or 2 at most to get his story updated and his sheet in.

    Just a note:

I don't want anyone to get discouraged because other people are sending in sheets already. You have plenty of time to do your own, so take your time and send something good. There's a lot of interest in this game right now, but that doesn't mean you won't get to play if you put a bunch of work into a character. This is decidedly not a first-come, first-served affair.

    Carry on.

    THIS IS YOUR STORYTELLER SPEAKING.

The city for our game will be San Francisco. If you've never had the pleasure of being there, try to read some about it and get it worked into your backgrounds. More details on the setting will follow.

THIS IS YOUR ST SPEAKING AGAIN

Two things. One, this game isn't going to feature a lot of dream-diving. I hate that crap.

Two, I would like to start doing preludes next week. Sheets, I need sheets!

What's going on is that even though I said "CORE BOOK ONLY" in big ol' letters, almost everyone has asked to use something outside of the core book. You're all assholes.

I've started work on the actual game, so we should hopefully be up and running soon.

Although the non-core books are total awesome. I can't really blame 'em.

Have none of you fools warned defrag about what happens to people who run games of Changeling?

How many storytellers have we lost so far, never to be seen again? Rainfall, you should know better... though... perhaps you're one of them?
